April 20th Hearing by the House Ways
and Means Committee on the Tax-Exempt Sector (April 21, 2005)
On April 20th, the House Ways and Means Committee convened a hearing
on the Tax-Exempt Sector. Witnesses included George Yin of the Joint
Committee on Taxation, David Walker of the Government Accountability
Office, Bruce Hopkins, a nationally recognized expert on foundations
and tax law, and Douglas Holtz-Eakin of the Congressional Budget
